Giuseppi “Joe” Sottile, Family Assistance Fund
We would like to share with you a very small window into how fortunate all of us that knew and loved Joe Sottile really are.
Joe is just the sweetest man you could ever know. He was a person that in just a few short moments completely made everyone feel his amazing qualities; Loyalty, Trust and the Friendship instantly filled the room with Joe. Joe was truly a person who cared deeply and devoted his life to his family; Sister Francesca, his Brother Franco and especially his Mother Carmella. Joe’s mom now 91 years of age, lived with Joe and he took tremendous care for her day in and day out.
No words can ever express the sorrow that we feel for losing our Brother and for Joe’s family who are suffering from this tremendous loss. A loss that cannot be described. Like many others, Joe passed away in the prime of his life at age 51 due to this horrible global pandemic COVID.
The outpouring of love and sadness from all of Joe’s friends, family and his closest CUPE Local 2 family has touched the hearts of his family.
Please help us honor his memory by now doing what we all know Joe would do for us. Our Brother Joe’s family needs our support. Please help with the astronomical costs that Joes family will now endure. Every dollar raised will help our Brother Joe’s family through this very difficult time not just with funeral costs but to assist with the ongoing cost to care for Joe’s mom Carmella.
Together with just a few dollars we can continue to do what our Brother Joe, his Sister Francesca and Brother Franco dedicated their lives to. The care of their mother Carmella.
Joe will forever remain in our hearts. Joe was loved and cherished by so many and he will be greatly missed.
